The hotel is situated in Mirijevo, the part of Belgrade which is considered to have the freshest air in the city, where the winds from the Danube intertwine with those from the heart of the region of Šumadija.

The Mirijevo area is considered as the best place for living for people with respiratory and bronchial problems because of the mentioned climate and it is recommended by doctors. In former times, Mirijevo was used as a resting place by rulers, land owners and masters during the Ottoman Empire, and they called it Heavenly Gardens.
